Translations
Along with language training, I also offer translation services, whereas I only provide German to English translations. Normally clients send me their text in German by e-mail, either as a MS Word file or pasted directly into the e-mail. Next I read the text and find translations for special terms in the text. Afterwards the passage is rewritten in English in my own words but keeping the same meaning as in German. This is a better method of translating, because it does not lose the meaning like in word-for-word translations.
Translations can take from a matter of hours to a couple of days, depending on text length. When you e-mail me your text, you will receive an automatic response so you know that my email account as received your data. An 80-cent charge (plus VAT) is made on each line written in English, in which one line consists of 55 characters.
